Well as I think everyone knows, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince came out at 12:01 am on Saturday. All that may care may also know that many book stores stayed open until the wee hours of the morning to sell many copies of this book. What you may not know is that I, along with many friends, went to the Barnes and Noble near my house to wait for the book. I then after getting home around 2 am proceeded to read it (I finished at 8:50 am).

Saturday to Sunday, Bess had a sleep over to celebrate her birthday/ new Harry Potter book. The only problem with this plan is that Meryl and Bess hadn't finished the book by the time the party had started. So we ended up with two groups: people who had finished the book hung out in Bess’s room while the people who hadn’t finished the book read in Bess’s family room. But it was pretty fun even if the host was nonexistent (she didn’t finish the book until everyone else had gone to bed and slept the latest).

I just finished reading my second summer homework book. I think I liked the first one a little better, but both were surprisingly good (last summer’s book assignments left something to be desired) and since my third summer reading book is Dickens, I think it should be okay. I still need to take notes on all three books for my English class, but that can wait for now.

I finished the newest issue of Pandora Press just now, so as soon as I find a fifth envelope, I shall get it mailed. Oh, I’ll also need to find stamps and put on addresses.
